Counter-Strike Global Offensive
One of the first games I used official engine tools for was Counter-Strike, Global Offensive.
I familiarized myself with level design concepts and used the Source Engine as a jumping off point to be able to understand the basics of any other game engine or similar software I used.





Level Showcase - Penthouse
My first level was a Penthouse level which I concepted on paper and blocked out in the source engine specifically with playability and gameplay in mind, as Counter-Strike levels require extreme amounts of balance especially when it comes to Level Design.
The level also received Navigation Meshing and became a fully functional level for the game.

I have also attempted other level design concepts for Counter-Strike, this being an example of a Layout Sketch being converted to a initial blockout used for pathing and gameplay flow.
